Enrollment Periods and Deadlines

Grasping the enrollment periods is imperative to ensure you don’t miss out on the necessary coverage. The Initial Enrollment Period for Martin’s Point Medicare Advantage plans starts three months before turning 65, includes the birthday month, and extends three months after.
You can still enroll during the Annual Enrollment Period that runs from October 15 to December 7 each year.
Life can sometimes throw us curveballs, like moving or losing existing insurance. During these times, Special Enrollment Periods allow changes to your Medicare Advantage plan outside the typical enrollment windows.
Once a Special Enrollment Period is triggered, coverage starts on the first of the month following the plan’s receipt of the enrollment request.
